Kheer Bhawani Mela Sees Highest Devotee Footfall Since 1990

The annual Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela, a significant religious gathering in Jammu and Kashmir, recorded its highest attendance in over three decades this year. Thousands of devotees converged at the Mata Ragnya Temple in Tulmulla, Ganderbal district, to participate in the festivities.

Official figures indicate that over 30,000 people visited the main shrine in Tulmulla alone. The overall count of devotees visiting various shrines across Kashmir for the Mela exceeded 50,000, signifying a substantial increase in participation compared to previous years.

This year's Mela has been noted for its exceptional turnout, with the number of pilgrims reaching a level not seen since 1990. The event is a major cultural and religious highlight for the region, drawing people from various communities.
