Khattar arrives in Tripura to inaugurate new lighthouse project

Khattar arrived in Tripura to preside over the inauguration of a lighthouse constructed along the state's coastline. The ceremony was attended by local officials and maritime department representatives, who highlighted the project's role in improving navigation safety for vessels operating in the region. The lighthouse, equipped with modern lighting technology, is expected to aid fishermen and commercial ships by providing a reliable visual reference during night-time and adverse weather conditions. Authorities said the project reflects the government's focus on enhancing coastal infrastructure and supporting the livelihoods of coastal communities. The event underscored the collaborative effort between state agencies and central maritime authorities to boost safety and development in the area.
