Kerala tops AI exposure ranking among Indian states, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar trail

In contrast, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar occupy the lower end of the spectrum, showing limited AI penetration in both the private and public sectors. The lag in these two populous states is attributed to slower digital adoption, fewer AI‑focused initiatives and limited access to advanced training resources. The findings underscore the need for targeted policy interventions to bridge the AI divide and boost competitiveness nationwide.
