Kerala House in Delhi arranged a longer bed for Governor Mathur, adjusting its official accommodation to meet the governor’s needs.
Delhi's Kerala House, the official residence allotted to Kerala's chief minister in the capital, has temporarily sourced a longer bed for Governor Mathur. The arrangement was made after the governor’s staff reported that the standard bedding did not suit his height. The longer bed was borrowed from a nearby government facility to ensure the governor’s comfort during his stay.
Officials at Kerala House said the accommodation adjustment was a routine measure to address the personal requirements of a high‑ranking constitutional office‑holder. No additional costs were incurred as the bed was sourced from existing government inventory.
The move underscores the logistical coordination among different state representations in Delhi, where official residences often share resources to meet the specific needs of visiting dignitaries.
