The board will focus on qualified doctors to ensure the centre becomes fully operational.\n\nThe initiative aims to strengthen healthcare access for the fishing community, addressing long‑standing gaps in medical services along Kerala’s coastline. Recruitment is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.\n\nWhile the exact number of positions was not disclosed, officials indicated that staffing will be sufficient to run the centre's outpatient, emergency and preventive health programmes.
