Kerala Fisheries Minister Prioritises Doctor Recruitment for CCRC

Kerala's Fisheries Minister announced that the state will expedite the hiring of medical professionals for the Coastal Community Resource Centre (CCRC), a facility intended to serve fishermen and coastal communities.\n\nA recruitment board has already been constituted and will conduct the selection process on a priority basis, Abdul Gafoor said. The board will focus on qualified doctors to ensure the centre becomes fully operational.\n\nThe initiative aims to strengthen healthcare access for the fishing community, addressing long‑standing gaps in medical services along Kerala’s coastline.
