Police in Katihar announced the murder of lawyer Ajizuddin Ansari, known as Guddu, and within half a day detained five suspects, seizing a pistol, ammunition, a knife, a vehicle and a mobile phone.
Katihar police disclosed that lawyer Ajizuddin Ansari, popularly known as Guddu Ansari, was murdered in the city. Acting on the directives of Superintendent of Police Parichay Kumar, investigators swiftly identified and apprehended five individuals suspected of involvement in the crime within twelve hours of the incident.
The arrested suspects were taken into custody at a local police station, where a search of their belongings yielded a locally manufactured pistol, several cartridges, a knife, a motor vehicle and a mobile phone. All seized items have been forwarded to the forensic lab for further examination.
