Heavy rainfall over the last 24 hours in the Jammu & Kashmir region has produced sudden flash floods that have claimed 11 lives and left several villages submerged.\n\nThe floods struck mainly the districts of Pulwama and Bandipora, where swollen streams and broken embankments overwhelmed local drainage systems.
