The Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu & Kashmir has issued a directive to intensify anti‑terror operations throughout the state.
The order, announced in a press briefing, calls for increased surveillance, intelligence gathering and rapid response units to target potential threats.
In addition, the DGP is reviewing the security arrangements for upcoming religious pilgrimages (yatra), aiming to coordinate with local authorities and ensure the safety of devotees.
