Karni Sena leader attacks Bollywood stars in Jaipur, says they receive lakhs to join protest

In Jaipur, a senior figure of the Karni Sena approached a gathering of Bollywood personalities and physically challenged them, marking a rare direct confrontation between the regional activist group and film industry figures. The incident unfolded amid a series of demonstrations that have been organized to protest alleged electoral malpractices, including vote rigging and the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against officials. Protesters are also demanding the resignation of Election Commission chief Gyanesh Kumar, whom they accuse of partisanship. The Karni Sena leader asserted that the film stars are being paid substantial sums, amounting to lakhs of rupees, to lend their support to the movement, a claim that has intensified debate over the role of celebrities in political agitations. Local authorities have taken note of the clash, and the episode has added a new dimension to the ongoing controversy surrounding the protests.
