Karnataka seeks batting reset ahead of Ranji Trophy clash with Saurashtra

Karnataka's campaign in the Ranji Trophy has hit a stumbling block with recent low scores, leading team analysts to stress the need for a batting reset before the upcoming match against Saurashtra. The side, traditionally strong with the bat, has struggled to post competitive totals in its last outings, prompting a strategic reassessment by the coaching staff.

The forthcoming fixture against Saurashtra, a team known for its disciplined bowling attack, will be a litmus test for Karnataka's ability to revive its batting momentum. Players are expected to focus on fundamentals, rotate the strike and convert starts into substantial innings.

If Karnataka can stabilize its top order, it could regain confidence and steer its Ranji campaign back on track. The match is slated to be a pivotal encounter in the group stage, with both sides eyeing points to strengthen their positions in the tournament.
