Junior doctors in Andhra Pradesh gathered on a beach for a rally as their protest entered its tenth day, demanding resolution of pending issues.

On the tenth consecutive day of their demonstration, junior doctors from Andhra Pradesh assembled on a coastal stretch, turning the protest into a beach rally. The medical personnel, representing several government hospitals, continued to press authorities for the settlement of salary arrears, posting allowances and other pending benefits that have been a source of discontent.

Organisers said the rally was intended to draw wider public attention after earlier sit‑ins and hospital blockades drew limited response. Participants carried placards, chanted slogans and addressed media representatives, reiterating that the strike would persist until their demands are met.

State health officials have acknowledged the grievances but indicated that budgetary constraints and procedural clearances are delaying the disbursement. Negotiations between the doctors' association and the Andhra Pradesh health department are reportedly ongoing, with both sides urging a peaceful resolution.

The protest, now in its second week, has caused intermittent disruptions in outpatient services across several district hospitals, though emergency care remains operational. Authorities have warned that any escalation could affect patient care, urging the doctors to consider alternative channels for dialogue.
