The Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) has mentored 43 startups and urged local entrepreneurs to focus on global markets. The initiative aims to boost the region's startup ecosystem and expand its reach beyond domestic borders.
JKEDI, the state‑run body that supports entrepreneurship in Jammu and Kashmir, announced that it has mentored 43 startups in its latest program. The mentoring sessions covered business planning, product development and market strategy.
During the launch, JKEDI officials urged entrepreneurs in the region to look beyond local markets and target global audiences. They highlighted the growing demand for Indian products abroad and the potential for higher returns.
