Reliance Industries' digital arm Jio Platforms launched its initial public offering and received more than 10 million applications, becoming the first IPO globally to exceed the 1‑crore (10 million) application threshold, the Times of India reported.
The subscription window, which spanned several days, drew both retail and institutional investors, and the volume of applications far outstripped previous records for public offerings worldwide.
