The Jharkhand Council of Examinations and CCEB has instructed MBBS aspirants to upload their category certificates and Aadhaar cards before the NEET UG 2026 counselling.
The Jharkhand Council of Examinations (JCE) and the Council of Co-ordination for Entrance Examinations (CCE) have issued a directive for MBBS aspirants applying for the NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates are required to submit scanned copies of their category certificates—such as SC, ST, OBC, or EWS—alongside their Aadhaar cards as part of the online application process.
The directive, released on Thursday, aims to streamline verification and ensure that all eligibility criteria are met before the counselling rounds begin. Applicants who fail to upload the necessary documents will be unable to participate in the seat allotment process.
Candidates can upload the required documents through the official JCE website, where a dedicated portal section has been created for document submission. The council has also provided guidelines on acceptable file formats and size limits.
The move comes as part of the state’s broader effort to digitise admission procedures and reduce paperwork for students across Jharkhand.
