Jharkhand Government Reassigns Seven IAS Officers to Finance, Health and Agriculture Departments

Jharkhand’s administration announced a reshuffle affecting seven senior IAS officers, moving them to the Finance, Health and Agriculture departments. The reassignments are intended to strengthen policy implementation and address sector‑specific challenges ahead of the upcoming fiscal year. Officials from the state secretariat confirmed that the postings were decided after a review of performance and departmental needs. The Finance department will now oversee budgeting reforms, while the Health ministry aims to accelerate ongoing public‑health programmes. The Agriculture department expects the new officers to focus on farmer welfare schemes and crop‑insurance initiatives.
