The Jharkhand government announced the cancellation of 44 recruitment examinations after complaints of irregularities surfaced during a CID probe into the Jharkhand Public Service Commission's testing process.

Ranchi, Jharkhand – The state administration released a list confirming that 44 recruitment examinations have been called off after the government received complaints about procedural irregularities. The cancellations pertain to tests conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and administered through the private firm TD Power Learning (TDPL).

According to the official statement, the grievances were examined during a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) inquiry, which uncovered deviations from standard examination protocols. The findings were presented to the government, prompting the decision to nullify the affected exams to preserve the integrity of the recruitment process.

The move impacts thousands of aspirants who had registered for the various posts. Candidates have been advised to await further communication from JPSC regarding possible re‑conduct of the exams or alternative selection methods. The government affirmed that it will take corrective steps to ensure transparency in future recruitment drives.
