The Jaipur Development Authority deployed bulldozers to demolish unauthorised buildings on New Sanganer Road, as shown in a video released by NDTV Rajasthan.
Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) officials carried out a demolition drive on New Sanganer Road, targeting structures that were erected without proper approvals. The operation, captured on video and aired by NDTV Rajasthan, showed bulldozers leveling the illegal buildings early on the day of the action.
According to the footage, JDA teams arrived with heavy machinery, issued warnings to occupants, and proceeded with demolition after confirming the lack of sanctioned permits. No injuries or arrests were reported during the operation.
The move is part of a broader effort by the state’s urban authorities to curb unauthorised construction that hampers planned infrastructure development and poses safety risks. Local residents were advised to stay clear of the site while the demolition was underway.
Authorities have not disclosed the exact number of structures removed, but officials indicated that the action will serve as a deterrent to future illegal building activities in the region.
