JCECEB Revises NEET UG 2026 Round‑1 Counselling Schedule After Server Glitch

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has shifted the date for the first round of NEET UG 2026 counselling following a technical glitch on its online portal.
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) issued a notice on its official website stating that the originally planned Round 1 of NEET UG 2026 counselling, slated for 15 May, will be postponed due to a server malfunction that prevented candidates from completing their registration.
In the revised timetable, the board has set 22 May as the new date for the first round, with the online portal expected to be fully operational by 20 May. Candidates are advised to log in using their existing JCECEB credentials, verify their details, and confirm seat allocation within the stipulated window.
JCECEB emphasized that the glitch was isolated to the counselling portal and assured aspirants that no application fees or merit scores will be affected. The board has also opened a helpline and an email support desk to address queries and to guide students through the updated process.
