The Jammu and Kashmir State Meteorological Department has issued a warning that strong gusty winds are expected to sweep across the region today.
Wind speeds are projected to reach 60–80 km/h in many districts, with the highest gusts likely in the mountainous areas of Kishtwar, Bandipora and Pulwama.
Officials advise residents to secure loose objects, avoid traveling on open roads, and keep children and pets indoors until the wind subsides.
