Jammu & Kashmir Health Department Secures Manpower via GeM Outsourcing

The health department cited a growing demand for medical services across the state as the reason for seeking additional staff. To meet this need, officials turned to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), a digital procurement platform that connects public bodies with suppliers. The department has now signed contracts for several temporary positions, which will be filled through GeM’s vetted vendor network. This move is expected to streamline recruitment and ensure that health facilities can continue to operate efficiently.
