The Jammu & Kashmir government has extended the deadline for displaced families to apply for relief assistance, giving them additional time to submit required documents.
The Jammu & Kashmir government has announced a new deadline for displaced families to apply for relief assistance, extending the previous cut‑off by two weeks.
The original deadline of 15 September has been moved to 29 September, allowing families who have been displaced from Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir (PoJK) more time to gather necessary paperwork.
Under the relief package, beneficiaries can receive financial support, temporary housing, and essential supplies such as food and clothing. The government has also set up additional help desks in major districts to streamline the application process.
Applicants are advised to submit their forms through the official online portal or at the nearest district administration office. Detailed guidelines and required documents are available on the Jammu & Kashmir government website.
