The Centre has announced that the AIIMS in Jammu is now functional. The Awantipora AIIMS is still under construction.
In a significant development, the Centre has confirmed that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jammu is now operational. This move is expected to boost the healthcare infrastructure in the region. The Jammu AIIMS will provide advanced medical facilities to the people of Jammu and surrounding areas. On the other hand, the Awantipora AIIMS is still in the construction phase and is yet to be completed.
