James Gunn's 'Clayface' Projected to Open Below $35 Million in North America

Industry trackers have estimated that James Gunn's upcoming DC Universe title 'Clayface' will generate slightly under $35 million in its opening weekend across North America. The projection, reported by entertainment portal Koimoi, reflects a cautious outlook for the film amid a competitive release calendar. While the DC franchise has enjoyed strong openings in recent years, analysts note that audience fatigue and the presence of other blockbuster releases could temper box‑office performance. The forecast does not include potential earnings from international markets, which could add to the film's total revenue. Stakeholders are expected to monitor the opening figures closely to gauge the film's momentum for subsequent weeks.
