Bidar: At the inauguration ceremony of Jalsa-e-Sirat-un-Nabi and Al Tawakkal Kohinoor Hajj and Umrah Tour and Travels held at Maeloon Masjid, A Bilal, prominent Islamic religious leader Maulana P M Mujamil delivered the keynote address. He spoke about the deep spiritual connection Indian Muslims share with both Hindustan and the holy cities of Mecca and Madina. Maulana Mujamil conveyed a poignant analogy, comparing this devotion to a wife’s question to her husband about whether he loves his mother or his wife more, emphasizing that while Hindustan is like life itself, Mecca and Madina are like one’s ultimate faith and spiritual home.
The Maulana elaborated on the religious beliefs of Muslims during Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, explaining their significance in detail. Former minister Rahim Khan and several Maulvis and followers of Islam from various parts of the state were also present on this occasion.
