Two wanted men, accused of stone‑throwing at Devi Talab Temple, fled from the Jalandhar court complex after police arrived, leaping from a roof to escape arrest.
Police had been alerted that two wanted suspects, linked to a stone‑throwing incident at Devi Talab Temple, had arrived at the Jalandhar court complex to face arrest in another case.
When officers entered the court premises, the suspects spotted them and fled.
In an attempt to evade capture, the men leapt from a roof of the court building.
Authorities are investigating the incident; no injuries have been reported so far.
