Jaipur Police Solve Murder of Elderly Couple, Neighbor Arrested as Mastermind

Rajasthan police have revealed that an elderly couple in Punawali village, Jaipur, was murdered by a neighbor who intended to rob them. The bodies were concealed inside a bed box.
The incident came to light after police recovered the bodies of the elderly couple from a bed box in their home in Punawali village, under the Saira police station area. Preliminary examination indicated that the deaths were the result of a violent assault.
Investigators said the murder was planned with the sole intention of looting the couple’s belongings. Evidence gathered at the scene pointed to a person known to the victims.
Following leads, the police detained a neighbor who was identified as the mastermind behind the crime. During questioning, the suspect confessed to the act and disclosed how the bodies were hidden.
The accused has been taken into police custody and further legal proceedings are underway. Authorities continue to gather additional evidence to support the case.
