Jaipur police have solved the theft of an Ashtadhatu idol from the ancient Thakur Laxminarayan temple in Amer, uncovering that the accused broke the idol believing it contained precious gems.

Jaipur police have successfully cracked the case of a stolen Ashtadhatu idol from the ancient Thakur Laxminarayan temple in the Amer region. The idol was reported missing 14 days ago, and authorities have now apprehended the culprit.

Investigations revealed that the accused stole the idol under the mistaken belief that it contained valuable precious stones. Driven by greed, the perpetrator subsequently damaged the idol, breaking it into pieces. The remnants were then buried in a field.

The police have recovered the broken pieces of the idol, bringing a swift resolution to the theft that had caused concern in the local community.
