Jailer 2 is targeting to surpass Rajinikanth's top five advance booking records, with the benchmark set by Coolie's ₹46.36 crore advance collection (including block). The film's advance sales aim to beat the existing high marks set by the superstar's earlier releases.
The upcoming sequel Jailer 2, featuring Rajinikanth in the lead, is being positioned to challenge the actor's own top five advance booking records.
Trade sources indicate that the benchmark to beat is the ₹46.36 crore advance collection (with block) achieved by the film Coolie, which currently stands as one of the highest advance figures for a Rajinikanth starrer.
Analysts note that early advance booking trends for Jailer 2 are being closely watched, and the production team expresses confidence in surpassing the set target.
If successful, the achievement would add another milestone to Rajinikanth's illustrious box‑office career and further strengthen the film's pre‑release momentum.
