Madhya Pradesh will develop an industrial corridor linking Jabalpur and Indore, with a company committing ₹100 crore and a broader investment goal of ₹3 lakh crore over the next three years.
The state government of Madhya Pradesh has announced plans to create an industrial corridor stretching from Jabalpur to Indore. The corridor is intended to boost manufacturing, logistics and ancillary services along the 300‑kilometre stretch.
A private company has pledged an initial capital outlay of ₹100 crore to support the corridor’s infrastructure and early‑stage projects. This investment is expected to catalyse further private and public spending in the region.
State officials have set an ambitious target of attracting ₹3 lakh crore in total investment within the next three years. The plan includes developing dedicated freight lanes, industrial parks and utility hubs to streamline supply chains.
The project aligns with the broader national push for regional connectivity and industrial diversification, aiming to generate employment and increase the state’s contribution to India’s manufacturing output.
