Imphal Teachers Training Academy has inaugurated a new B.Ed. induction programme aimed at enhancing teacher training standards.
Imphal, Manipur – The Imphal Teachers Training Academy (ITTA) today launched a B.Ed. induction programme designed to streamline and elevate the quality of teacher education in the state.
The new induction scheme will provide structured orientation, mentorship and professional development for newly enrolled B.Ed. candidates, ensuring they meet national teaching standards from the outset.
Officials said the initiative will help bridge gaps between academic preparation and classroom practice, fostering a stronger pipeline of qualified teachers for schools across Manipur.
ITTA plans to monitor the programme’s impact through regular assessments and will expand the model to other teacher training institutions in the region.
