Itanagar Capital Region Mandates 5-Day Advance Permission For Events And Rallies

The Itanagar Capital Region administration in Arunachal Pradesh has introduced a new requirement making advance permission compulsory for organising public events and rallies. Organisers will now have to seek formal approval at least five days before the scheduled date of any such gathering.

The move is aimed at ensuring better regulation of public activities and maintaining law and order in the capital region. By mandating prior intimation, authorities expect to streamline permissions and facilitate smoother conduct of events.

The new norm applies to all categories of public gatherings within the Itanagar Capital Region. Organisers have been advised to follow the prescribed procedure well in time to avoid last-minute hurdles or cancellation of their programmes.
