The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has commenced a comprehensive Shotgun Referee Course in New Delhi, training officials for upcoming international competitions.
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) began a Shotgun Referee Course in New Delhi on Monday, aiming to equip officials with the skills required for judging international shotgun events.
The program, which runs for several weeks, covers rules, scoring procedures, and safety protocols specific to trap, skeet, and double trap disciplines.
Participants include national and regional referees from across India, who will undergo both theoretical instruction and practical assessments.
The course is part of ISSF’s effort to strengthen officiating standards ahead of major tournaments such as the Asian Games and the Olympic Games.
Upon completion, referees will receive certification that qualifies them to officiate at international competitions hosted in India and abroad.
