Indore: Youth Poses as 'Veeru' to Befriend Girl, Records Abuse Video

Police officials in Indore's Lasudiya jurisdiction have reported a case of sexual exploitation that began with deception. A man identified as Warish approached a young woman, introducing himself as "Veeru" to gain her trust. After establishing a friendship, he allegedly forced her into a sexual act and recorded an explicit video without her consent.

Investigators say the victim disclosed the incident after noticing the video being circulated online. The police have seized the mobile device used to capture the footage and are conducting a forensic analysis to retrieve further evidence.

The case has been registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code dealing with sexual assault and the production of obscene material. Authorities have warned that similar deceptive tactics are being used in other parts of the city and urged citizens to be cautious while forming new acquaintances online or offline.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the suspect is currently in police custody pending further legal proceedings.
