A disturbing incident has come to light in Indore's Son Guradia village, where school children were given laddus infested with fungus during an Independence Day event. The children were given the laddus as a celebratory treat, but soon after, some of them complained of a foul smell and taste. Following the complaints, the distribution of laddus was stopped, and the food department was informed. The department promptly raided the shop from where the laddus were sourced. Two children who consumed the laddus have reported stomach pain, and their condition is being monitored.
