The Indore municipal authorities, in collaboration with a private agency, are constructing a dedicated crematorium for dead animals at an estimated cost of ₹3 crore. A helpline number will soon be launched to allow residents to request transport of carcasses to the facility.
Indore is setting up a specialised crematorium for the disposal of dead animals, a first-of-its-kind facility in the city. The project is being undertaken with the support of a private agency and is estimated to cost around three crore rupees.
