Indore Temples Deck Out for Janmashtami with Special Decorations and Makhan-Mishri Prasad

On Janmashtami, temples across Indore were adorned with elaborate decorations and devotees participated in darshan, abhishek and bhajan-kirtan throughout the day. A special maharati will be held at midnight to mark Lord Krishna’s birth.
Indore’s temples, including Gopal Temple, Yashoda Mata Temple and ISKCON Nipania, were decorated elaborately for Janmashtami. From early morning, makhan-mishri mahaprasad was being distributed to devotees throughout the day.
Devotees gathered for darshan and performed abhishek of the deity, while bhajan-kirtan sessions continued without interruption in the temples.
At midnight, a special maharati will be conducted to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birth, marking the culmination of the Janmashtami festivities in the city.
