Authorities in Indore have sealed the canteen and kitchen of the prestigious Shishukunj School following reports that approximately 150 students became ill after consuming food. The incident has raised concerns about food safety standards within the educational institution.
Following the widespread illness among students, the food department took immediate action. Samples of food items and water from the school's premises have been collected and sent for laboratory testing to determine the exact cause of the suspected food poisoning. The school administration is cooperating with the investigation.
As a precautionary measure, students are now reportedly bringing tiffin boxes from their homes for meals. The sealing of the canteen is in effect until further notice, pending the results of the ongoing investigation.
