Indore administration has imposed restrictions on heavy vehicles on Indore-Khandwa road due to Kanwar Yatra. Additional police personnel have been deployed for security.
The Kanwar Yatra has posed a challenge for the Indore administration, with traffic jams and accidents being a major concern. To mitigate these issues, the collector has restricted the entry of heavy vehicles on the Indore-Khandwa road from 6 am to 11 pm, starting from July 30 to August 28. This move is expected to reduce congestion and ensure a smoother passage for the devotees. Additionally, 25 extra police personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order during the yatra.
