Indore Police Seize 197 Illegal Cartoon Firecrackers in Rajendra Nagar Raid

Police in Indore’s Rajendra Nagar area busted an illegal firecracker warehouse, confiscating 197 cartoon crackers and arresting the operator.
Police conducting a raid in the densely populated Rajendra Nagar locality of Indore uncovered a clandestine firecracker storage unit. Officers entered the premises after receiving intelligence about the illegal trade and secured the area without incident.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 197 cartoon firecrackers, commonly used for festive celebrations but prohibited for sale without proper licensing. The confiscated items were taken to the local police station for further examination and evidence preservation.
During the raid, the individual managing the warehouse was apprehended and taken into custody. He is being investigated for violating the Explosives Act and for operating an unlicensed fireworks business in a residential neighbourhood.
Authorities have warned that similar illegal firecracker operations pose safety risks and will be pursued aggressively, especially ahead of upcoming festivals when demand for such items spikes.
