In Indore's Vijay Nagar locality, a significant fire erupted on Tuesday afternoon following the rupture of a PNG gas pipeline. The incident occurred while the municipal corporation was engaged in excavation work for water recharging purposes.
The damaged pipeline led to a powerful explosion and subsequent blaze. A young woman was critically injured and suffered severe burns in the fire. Two vehicles at the scene were also consumed by the flames.
