In a bid to curb water wastage, the Indore Municipal Corporation has begun taking strict action. Mayor Pusyamitra Bhargav, taking a proactive approach, personally stopped a vehicle on R.R. Cat Road where a shop owner was letting water run freely from a pipe. The Mayor immediately imposed a fine of ₹2,000 on the business owner, setting an example for others.
