A woman living in a live‑in arrangement at the Palash complex in Indore died after falling from the eighth floor, and police now allege her boyfriend provoked the act.

The death of a young woman was reported from the Palash residential complex in Indore's Tejaji Nagar police area after she fell from the eighth floor of the building. The victim had been residing at the site in a live‑in relationship with her boyfriend.
Police investigations have now shifted focus to the boyfriend, alleging that he repeatedly pressured the woman and may have induced her to take her own life. The allegation of provocation has been formally recorded in the case file.
Authorities said the investigation will examine messages, witness statements and any other evidence that could substantiate the claim of coercion. The suspect has been summoned for questioning, and the case remains under active investigation by the Indore police.
The incident was first reported by local media outlet Amar Ujala, which highlighted the emerging angle of alleged provocation by the partner.
