Indore Couple's Green Wedding

In a unique initiative, a Jain family in Indore has taken a step towards environmental conservation by accepting only plants as gifts at a wedding. This move is a departure from the traditional practice of exchanging expensive gifts at weddings. The family's effort has resulted in the collection of 264 plants from the guests. The wedding ceremony itself became a platform for promoting environmental awareness. The guests were encouraged to plant the trees at the wedding venue, fostering a sense of community and responsibility towards the environment.
