In the third T20I against Zimbabwe, Indian opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed by bowler Brad Evans, preventing him from reaching his first T20I century.
The third T20I of the India tour of Zimbabwe was played at Harare Sports Club on 25 March 2024. Indian opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had been in fine form, scoring 52 in the second match and was keen to convert the run into a century. In the 18th over of the innings, Brad Evans delivered a short ball that bounced and hit the stumps, taking Sooryavanshi out for 99. The dismissal denied India a milestone for the young batsman. Despite the setback, India chased down the target and won the match by 4 wickets, clinching the series 2-1.
