India's Kharif Sowing Gap Narrows Amid Rising Rainfall Deficit

The latest agricultural bulletin reports that the Kharif sowing gap has narrowed, indicating that a larger proportion of farmers are sowing their crops on schedule. The sowing gap is measured as the difference between the area actually sown and the target area set by the government.
