The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) projects that India's trade with the United Kingdom could reach $115 billion by 2030, following the signing of a comprehensive trade agreement.

Assocham has released a forecast that India’s exports to the United Kingdom could climb to $115 billion by 2030, a sharp rise from the current $50 billion level. The projection follows the recent signing of a trade pact that removes tariffs on a wide range of goods and services, including pharmaceuticals, engineering products and digital services. The chamber says the agreement will open up new markets for Indian exporters and attract more investment from UK firms. While the estimate is optimistic, it reflects the confidence of industry bodies that the pact will boost trade flows and create jobs in both countries.
