India’s Experience Economy to Reach $59.2 Billion by 2030, Says EEMA

The Entertainment and Media Economic Association (EEMA) has released a new report indicating that India's experience economy is poised to almost double in value over the next decade. According to the study, the sector is expected to reach $59.2 billion by 2030, a significant increase from its current valuation. The projected growth is attributed to rising consumer spending on travel, events, and digital entertainment, as well as government initiatives to promote experiential tourism. EEMA’s findings suggest that the expanding experience economy could generate substantial employment opportunities and attract foreign investment, underscoring the need for supportive policies.
