An Indian traveller told NDTV that a holiday in Bali works out cheaper than a similar trip to Goa, according to the broadcaster's report.
NDTV reported that an unnamed Indian traveller compared the cost of a vacation in Bali with a holiday in Goa, stating that the Indonesian destination turned out to be less expensive.
The traveller's remarks were made in the context of rising travel expenses within India, suggesting that overseas trips could offer better value for money for some tourists.
The comparison has sparked discussion among travel enthusiasts about the affordability of international destinations versus domestic beach holidays.
