The Indian Army concluded its 2026 Agniveer recruitment rally in Tripura, marking the successful completion of the enlistment drive.
New Delhi – The Indian Army has officially closed its Agniveer recruitment rally for 2026 in the northeastern state of Tripura. The event, organized by the Army Recruitment Directorate, brought together aspiring youth from across the region for a series of selection procedures.
During the rally, candidates underwent standard medical examinations, physical fitness tests and written assessments designed to identify suitable candidates for the Agniveer scheme. Army officials reported that the drive attracted a strong response, reflecting continued interest in defence careers among the state's youth.
With the rally now concluded, successful aspirants will be forwarded to training centres for further processing and induction into the Agniveer cadre. The Army reiterated its commitment to expanding the volunteer force and enhancing regional representation in the armed forces.
