The highly anticipated T20 final between India and West Indies was halted by rain, leaving fans without a decisive conclusion.
The final T20 match between India and West Indies was scheduled to take place at the venue on the day of the final. However, a sudden downpour forced the officials to halt play, and the match could not be completed before the time limit was reached.
Both teams and the match officials expressed disappointment at the interruption, noting that the game had the potential to deliver a thrilling finish. Fans who had gathered to watch the showdown were left without a definitive outcome.
Tournament organisers announced that the match would be rescheduled for a later date, or that the result would stand as a no‑result if a suitable replacement could not be arranged. The decision will be communicated to the teams and the public shortly.
